After the past busy month, this month will be more relaxed there is no festival scheduled. All the children enjoy playing in Nania’s garden. But Mr. Haze visited us again recently. A few children suffered from coughs and flu so we had to cancel “water play” day. All the children pray hard to “Mr. Rain” and ask him help to “wash” away the haze. We believe that they are really connected with the spiritual world. Somehow it’s difficult to use words to explain what we experience because on the same night after they prayed, Mr. Rain came and “washed” away the haze. The next day, all of them were so happy to have nice weather again. We overheard their conversation and were pleased to hear that they remembered to say “thank you” to Mr. Rain.

All of them are enjoy exploring in the garden very much. They find many interesting games and things in the garden. The boys, as usual, enjoy running and playing hide and seek in the garden.  The girls prefer to get the mat ready for a picnic and they harvest some fruits and flowers to make delicious “fruit” and “flower’” tea. Sometimes, they use water to paint on the ground too.

The fruits come from the tree in our garden so they are lucky to have “Mr. Monkey” [some of the big boys] who climb the tree to pluck the fruits for them. And the flower tea made with the blue flowers in our garden. We feel happy and touched that they are not just like friends in the school. Through their love and care, they are more like brothers and sisters.

  

  

 

They have started to sing some of the lantern songs to prepare for our coming Mooncake festival. Please mark it down on your calendar.  The moon cake festival will be held on 29^th Sept 2017. On that day, they will come to school as usual in the morning but will leave for home earlier at 1.00 pm. They will return to Nania for the Mooncake festival with their families at 6.15pm.We look forward to seeing you and your families on that evening.
