We congratulate our 3 graduates, Jonathan, Tzu Yao and Xuan Yik. We enjoy working with these 3 energetic boys in our care and have seen growth, development and skill acquisition in them. These 3 boys have spent many meaningful and wonderful days with us in Nania starting from their toddler days with Nania’s Playgroup. We have also witnessed how these 3 boys have grown in the way they deal with frustration and the care and concern they express for one another. We are really impressed with the attention spans of these little ones. It is not unusual for them to sit attentively for an hour. Hoorah for the BOYS!
Early in the morning of the Graduation Day, all the teachers were in the midst of preparing the final touches. We are glad that all the children got themselves ready in a circle and started to sing beautiful songs even before the teacher requested them to do it. We were calmer and happier when we observe them preparing themselves so well. The day started with their beautiful singing.
This year we introduced new poems in different languages. We had limited time to practise the new poems and we even thought of scrapping them. But the 3 boys insisted and they show us by their will that they could do it. They memorized all the new poems in a short time and they recited them to us confidently. So we let them present all the new poems this year.
Without any doubt, the graduating children stood upright and completed their presentation confidently. It is difficult to express our feelings in words when we watched their presentation.
The 3 graduates first invited the 3 and 4 years old children to sing and dance together with them. With the 5 years old, they played a game. It was delightful to watch the younger children collaborating with their ‘ko-ko’ so readily and confidently. They watched in awe at the performances by their ‘ko-ko’ and we are sure they look forward to the day when it will be their turn to do so.
To the graduating parents, we thank you for entrusting your child to us and your support throughout the years. We have fostered a close parent-teacher relationship with you all and send you our best wishes. We thank you for your meaningful sharing of your child’s experiences with us. We also truly appreciate the significant role you play in nurturing them. We are glad that all of you have noticed them as they gained in confidence, in developing caring attitudes towards others and in all the other positive attitudes after coming to Nania.
To the graduating children, we love you and will always remember you. We will truly miss you and we know that you are fully prepared and ready for the new adventure! Like many boys and girls before you, that you will one day come back to tell us that you are doing fine and how you miss the days at Nania.
We are now preparing for the coming Christmas festival on the 14th of December [Friday]. We enclose herewith the Christmas Festival programme and songs for your attention. We hope to see you and your family on the festival day.
