Dear parents,
It is wonderful to watch the children coming to the English class happily every morning after the term break. They chat and play animatedly with each other. As the number of boys in the class has grown less, they now play well together.
The girls like to play at “dressing up”. They imitate ‘Rapunzel’ by draping their heads with a long cloth to imitate her long hair. They also enjoy playing with dolls after they attended the ‘Kibo-chan’ doll sending- off ceremony. We would like to thank you for making the effort to join us on that day.
The children showed their tender and caring nature by embracing the two new girls in our class. They help teachers soothe their crying by passing tissues to wipe off their tears. They hold their hands wherever they go, and invite them to play together when the girls have calmed down.
Now, one of our daily activities is practising the songs and poems for our coming Harvest Festivals. During drawing days, they have drawn diligently because they want to give their best drawings to the birthday boy and girls of each month. They also need to give 7 of their best drawings to their graduating ‘ko-ko’ and ‘che-che’.
In the afternoon, after their literacy learning, the big children practise their upcoming graduation performance as well as put the finishing touches to their musical instruments with colourful crepe papers. They remembered what the previous graduates did with these instruments and thus they are eager to complete them.
