News / Nunn Road / 2016 / March 2016

We are pleased to welcome back all the children after the holiday break.  The day before school re-opened, we came back to Nania to clean and wash the school rooms and the toys as well. We also put all the toys in the sun to sanitize them.

Due to the prolonged heat spell, we have tried to remain indoors as much as possible and will only be going outdoors for only half an hour during next few weeks.  The children miss the outdoor activities but it is best to keep them indoors.

Nevertheless playing indoors has birthed surprises. One day, we sat down and folded an origami dinosaur each.  I am sure your child has happily shown that to you.  The bigger children in the class, felt a great sense of achievement because they managed to fold the dinosaur with their own nimble fingers with very little help from the teachers.

The big children in the class also had the time to finger weave with yarn during these days.  Please encourage them show it to you at home.  In the meantime, the smaller children have bonded well with each other.  They play harmoniously with each other very well.

I will appreciate if all parents could keep the activity page of this newsletter somewhere close so that you don’t miss out on any activities that we have planned for the following month.
