News / Halaman York / 2015 / November 2015
On 6th November we held our inaugural Nania York graduation ceremony. Two senior children graduated. We prepared well ahead of time but we still could not anticipate the impact that the actual day. The graduating children came in their best and we could see that they knew this was their special day. The younger children also dressed up and came with anticipation and admiration. Even the classroom was well adorned and decorated with beautiful cloths.
It was an emotional morning and the graduating children took charge of their day by their meaningful speeches and breathtaking performances. The graduates did their presentation confidently and delightfully, while the younger children watched the ceremony attentively. We are pleased that they have done so well. Bravo, Edelynn and Zen Jia!
The parents were overwhelmed with emotions when it became time to share stories about their child. To the parents of our graduating pioneers, we thank you for your wonderful and inspirational speeches. We are glad to know that your child has benefited from coming to Nania and that we have given to them the gift of a happy childhood. Your appreciation inspires us to keep caring for and nurturing the fantastic children that we have.
To the graduating children, we love you and will always remember and cherish the time that we spent together. You are moving on to another milestone in your lives. May you always remember the great times that you had at Nania. You are welcome to visit us whenever you can.
We have started to rehearse for the Christmas Festival. We hope to see you and your family on that day. We enclose herewith the Christmas Festival programme and songs for your attention. We look forward to seeing you at the Christmas festival as well as spending another year of wonderful moments with the children.

Congratulations to the 2 graduating children It was a very special and memorable day for Nania 2 [Halaman York]. The graduation ceremony was so beautiful and touching. The room was filled with warmth and love radiating from their parents, classmates and teachers towards the 2 graduating children. It was wonderful to watch the 2 children recite poems, sing, speak with confidence and also care for the younger children as they played and sang with them. They stood upright to signal their readiness to go on a new phase in life. Having finished this phase with joy and confidence, I believe each of them will continue to journey on to become who they truly are and who they want to be. The parents’ messages also touched my heart very much. I wish the graduating children and parents many happy and fruitful years to come. I’m very grateful for your support and please keep in touch with us. P.S 1) I’m very sorry I had to leave the place in a hurry to attend Nania 1’s [Nunn Road] graduation. Along the way to Nania 1, I carried the beautiful moments at Nania 2 in my heart. 2) Some graduating parents asked me to establish more branches or a school. I will take little steps forward. We will have a monthly session next year for Holistic Early Childhood Education at Nania 1. We already have an after care programme for primary school children at Nania 2. I understand the education system in government schools is very strict for the children. We created an after school programme to relieve some of the tension from school with a warm atmosphere, organic lunches, homework guidance and some artistic activities. If you are interested, please contact us for more information. Thank you. Junko [Principal] Graduation Day
